Vincent CockenpotChef Pâtissier
Vincent Cockenpot began his apprenticeship as a Pastry Chef in 2002 in the North of France. The Artisan’s values have always been part of his identity and passed on by his father who was himself into the culinary world as a butcher.
Vincent took his first position in Fontainebleau working with the renowned Chef Frederic Cassel, President of Relais Desserts since 2003, heading several Pastry Shops around the world (Japan, Morocco, France…). Walking in the pathway of this legend enabled him to grasp a considerable experience and so at the age of 23 he opened Frederic Cassel’s Pastry Shop in Casablanca Morocco. After gaining a solid knowhow on Pastry Boutique desserts, Vincent joined the Mandarin Oriental London to focus on platted dessert.
This last experience in Europe led him to be appointed Executive Pastry Chef for the iconic artisanal Bakery & Pastry Café concept Bateel, overseeing creation, production and implementation of standardized pastries across the Middle East.
Passionate about training and R&D, Vincent began a new chapter in his career by joining Chef Middle East as a Pastry Chef & Trainer with the main goal to build training programs & provide technical support to Pastry Chefs in UAE, Oman and Qatar.
