A French national, Philippe Bruneau joined the pre-opening team of The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) late 2010 as chef de cuisine at its all day dining restaurant Can Can. With his culinary roots strongly influenced by the traditional French cuisine, chef Philippe Bruneau is the perfect fit for this classic French restaurant, where his knowledge of European gastronomy can be fully utilized. In 2011, Chef Philippe became renowned by winning the Middle East cooking competition. Drawing inspiration from culinary creations of his grandmother and mother, chef Philippe Bruneau started his career in the Caribbean’s, Switzerland, particularly France and England, later moving to the United States, where he joined his first Ritz-Carlton property in Sarasota, Florida.
